One of the best dinners we've had (in Vegas and in the top 5 restaurant experiences. Our server, Katie, was exceptional with excellent recommendations and a clear knowledge about the menu (specifically gluten allergies). We enjoyed a bottle of bubbles, edamame, carpaccio, a rainbow gluten free roll, spicy salmon roll, duck fried rice + spicy tuna roll. More than enough food, incredible freshness and stunning presentation. The restaurant itself was bright, classy, vibrant -- perfect ambiance. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we're back in Vegas. Worth every penny.

We came here in our first night in Las Vegas. We were interested in the teppanyaki. We didn't know we needed to note on the reservation! No problem we were told. We were seated in an area in the back of the restaurant. We were greater and offered drinks. We then learned about the menu options. You can order off both menus for appetizers or meals. The options for the teppanyaki were very good. We opted for the chicken breast and the shrimp... and of course fried rice. The chef came out and was very friendly, chatted with us. He's been a chef for 36 years, starting in Hawaii. We were so happy with food, but we're not able to eat it all. Sadly, no room for desert... the options looked so good. We were very happy with the ambience, staff and food!!

This is Morimoto's so of course it is good. OMG delicious. The Asian Pear cocktail was perfect, the sushi fresh and the hot stone bowl delicious. Can't sat anything bad. I left wanting more. So good. The server was attentive and polite. The ambiance was what I'd expect of Morimoto. Perfect dinner. $100

This restaurant is nestled in the hotel, so it's rather loud, and not the best for conversation or a fancy date night. One of the pricier restaurants on the strip, and each of the nigiri (raw fish with rice) comes with only one piece as opposed to two. The best piece of nigiri was the oh-toro. The negitoro maki roll was interestingly the star of this meal, with a good ratio of fish to rice. The spicy tuna roll has a subtle spice. Each of the nigiri pieces has a tiny bit of wasabi under the fish for added flavor, which is traditional of Japanese style sushi but just in case you don't like wasabi, let your server know. For warm dishes, the pork belly with congee was amazing, perfect amount of savory, and the warm was in stark contrast to the sushi. Recommend starting with a warm appetizer and then sushi. Servers were really friendly. Restaurant gets busy so try to get a reservation!

Incredible food with equally incredible service and a beautiful atmosphere. Everything here has attention to detail and is packed full of flavor. My group of 9 had an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Our server Katie was so down to earth, approachable, and had a great sense of humor. She handled our family with grace and made the experience a flawless one. I'm already looking forward to going back for a more intimate experience with just my husband.

Amazing! If you're craving Asian fusion cuisine designed by an Iron Chef (one of the originals) then Morimoto Vegas is right up your alley. Similar to the one in Florida, there are distinct menu items only found here and it is worth every penny. FOOD: Sticky ribs are a must for an appetizer but you probably should just order one each since you'll love them so much. I ordered the sea bass and it was one of the best ever. Even my wife who doesn't like fish said she would order it again. We tried the buri bop (Morimoto's take on Korean bibimbap) and it was also delicious. SERVICE: Truly exceptional and the portion sizes are right for the price. You'll be treated as a VIP here! COST: It's pricey so know that going in but so worth it!!!! Definitely coming back here!

Looking for some sushi, this place is a must! We decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and we went with his recommendations. Started off with an Asian Pear Martini as well as the Japanese mule. it was very refreshing. We ordered a couple of different rolls, one was the dragon roll the other was the tiger roll. The ambiance is nice, they have plenty of seating. Perfect for a romantic night out or if you're looking for a spot to hold a large group. This is located inside the MGM. They do suggest reservations, but we got lucky and got right in. For large parties, I would recommend making reservations.

Four stars for the service and price point of what we ordered. My bestie and I were here for some sushi and the sushi portion of our order disappointed a bit but they are lucky the tacos saved the day. What we ordered: 1) hamachi tacos: they come with three but luckily Katie asked if we wanted to have four to even out the order. Yes please so we didn't fight over the third! 2) wagyu beef carpaccio: at first the meat tasted dry but I figured out that I needed to drench it in the sauce and bam! It was amazing. Seriously, it was delish just make sure you soak up the yummy sauce. 3) soft shell crab roll: here is where we had a downfall. Crab was dry. I know that deep fried can dry up fish but I was sad that I had to use the soy sauce to make it yummy. 4) drinks. I ordered a specialty cocktail and it was delish. I wish that they had asked if I would like another because I would have but I fortunately they did not. Overall I enjoyed this joint. I understand now why the lobby lounge had bogo cards for Sunday dining. It's stiff competition out here in Vegas so Moritimoto needs to up its game to stay hot in this desert!
